Authentic Leadership 5

Leadership & the Power of One

Speaker: Ps. Mike Kirkpatrick

Leadership Under Pressure

Bible reading: Mark 5:1-20

Never under-estimate the power of one person, who is powerfully converted, to bring many others to Jesus.

Will that person be you?

  • Spiritual uncleanness is a reality. Pray for spiritual cleansing.
  • Beware spiritually unclean ‘places’ – e.g. Internet, witchcraft & chronic anger or resentment.
  • What do you need to let go of, to respond fully to Jesus?
  • Just tell your story of what Jesus has done for you
  • Watch God use your sharing to bring others to Jesus.

Authentic Leadership 4

Speaker: Ps. Mike Kirkpatrick

Leadership Under Pressure

Bible reading: 1 Kings 19:1-18

  • We can get so caught up in the wonder of serving God that we become vulnerable to burnout.
  • That’s when Satan can use fear & intimidation to tempt you to give up
  • Rest and let the gentle, powerful words of God restore your soul, and strengthen you to do whatever God wants you to do next.

Church 10th anniversary

Guest Speaker: Tim Meyers

Bible reading: Habakkuk 1 – 3

How can we be joyful in the midst of trials?

God comes to us in Jesus Christ and gives us a new perspective. A new perspective is that we can be people of thanksgiving.

Because we have been placed in eternal promises.

If you are in Jesus Christ, your eternal life has already begun.

God has raised you up as a church.

Prayer and Vision

Guest Speaker: Dr Rosemary Wong

Bible reading: 2 Kings 6: 8-23.

Self Leadership Thoughts 1:

What do we do in our prayer life?
Throughout the Bible God’s people have prayed, throughout history, God’s people have prayed, Jesus prayed and Jesus told disciples to pray.

Great churches are made of praying people.

Prayer changes vision, prayer drives vision.
